We all have them.
One of two things happen after we have a dream:
- We see the dream come to pass.
- We set the dream on a shelf to collect dust.
Dreaming without doing leads to depression. After all, Proverbs 13:12 tells us that “hope deferred makes the heart sick.”
I want to encourage you to stop talking about your dream and start doing your dream!
For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of TALK; it is LIVING by God’s power. ~1 Corinthians 4:20 (NLT)
How can I set my dreams into motion?
1. Give It To God
Share your plans with the Lord, and you will succeed. ~Proverbs 16:3 (CEV)
Dream so BIG that the only way you can ever pull it off is if God steps in!
2. Jump Out Of The Boat
So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. ~Matthew 14:29 (NLT)
“When are you going to step out of the shadows and into the destiny God has created for you?” ~James Rubart
3. Focus On Jesus
BUT when he (Peter) saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. ~Matthew 14:30 (NLT)
4. Keep Moving
Jesus answered, “Anyone who starts plowing and keeps looking back isn’t worth a thing to God’s kingdom!” ~Luke 9:62 (CEV)
As soon as you jump out of the boat and begin pursuing your dream you will be met by opposition. The enemy will throw every scare tactic your way that he can think of. Don’t be intimidated. God’s got you.
How can I pray for you?
