The Church isn’t just for “us.” It’s for “others.”

In Matthew 5 (MSG) Jesus said, God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this…

Jesus sent the disciples out:

Mark 6:7,11-13 (NLT)
7 And he called his twelve disciples together and began sending them out two by two, giving them authority… 11 But if any place refuses to welcome you or listen to you, shake its dust from your feet as you leave to show that you have abandoned those people to their fate.” 12 So the disciples went out, telling everyone they met to repent of their sins and turn to God. 13 And they cast out many demons and healed many sick people, anointing them with olive oil.

Before Jesus ascended to heaven he commissioned the disciples  in Mark 16:15-18 & Matthew 28:16-20 with one key word: GO! (As in “Go into all the world to preach the Gospel and make disciples.)

Acts 1:8 (NLT)
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

  • Jerusalem (hometown)
  • Judea (regional)
  • Samaria (beyond)
  • Ends of the Earth (everywhere)

From local to global = going public!

Are you ready to go?!
