I prefer to call them Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah – their given Hebrew names – instead of their pagan names. See Daniel 1:6
If some pagan were to give me a name that represented their culture, and beliefs, would I want to be called by that name? I wouldn’t, so I would rather respect these men with their real Hebrew names.
